UChicago Sailors took gold at the MCSA Match Race Championship at the Sheboygan Yacht Club on October 15, automatically securing a spot at the Intercollegiate Match Race Nationals in Charleston, South Carolina next month!

Facing blustery winds and dangerous waves, racing was cancelled on day one of the regatta. During the delay, the umpires ran a match racing seminar at the Sheboygan Yacht Club.

On a full day two of racing, UChicago Sailors emerged undefeated after four head-to-head faces offs to take gold, earning a berth to the Match Race National Championship next month in Charleston! UChicago will represent the entire Midwestern Collegiate Sailing Association at the National Championship.
